We had seen Rick, Carl and Michonne together inside the car in which later they were stuck up in the mud. Prior to that they passed a guy who was running for help but they ignored him. When they got stuck..they encountered some walkers who horde their car. They got trapped inside until Rick found himself lowering the window and clearing those walkers who were trapping them. Carl did blamed Michonne for what happened to them but Rick explained to him that both of them had same common issues and living Michonne in the prison won't be good knowing that they are not good with Merle. Complications that was not solved yet. When they arrived in the old sheriff's station where Rick had left the armory during the first episode, he remembered signing permits for those people who had weapons and he believed that it was all available so the three searched for those weapons. While they were searching, they saw a lot of people who were burned out and there were painted warnings but Rick didn't give any attention to it and continue searching until they end up into a road with a blockade and later was ambushed by this masked gunman from the rooftop. Suddenly, this man was missing. Until it was found behind the building continue shooting them. While Rick was covering and trying to shoot him, Carl came from around and shot the gunman which made Rick very angry for shooting the living person. Later , Rick found out that it was Morgan, his ally in the first episode.
